Runners: A Semi Love Story

A Semi Love Story is a tale of a boy who falls in love with a girl while training for a half-marathon. Ezekiel is training for the Philadelphia Half Marathon at a local high school after breaking up with his girlfriend when he meets a girl name Zoey, who happens to be Haitian. He finds her quite beautiful but thinks nothing of it. He later sees her at a wedding with his best friend slash cousin, Zack, and gives her a ride. 
 
He asked her out on a date but finds out she is in a rocky romantic relationship with Sam, short for Samantha. She is bisexual. While speaking with Zoe, he convinces her to do a half marathon, and they start training together. Ezekiel tries his best to respect the relationship, however each time they hang out, he falls more and more in lovewith her. Now he must decide, should he hatch a plan known as Operation Z to get Zoey to fall in love with him, or respect her wishes and stay as friends.
